Participating Membership


Description:


Participating Members ($5,000/year) are eligible to participate in and chair working committees. Participating members do not have voting rights and are not permitted to serve on the Board of Directors. Participating members have priority over Sustaining members for events.  Participating members receive complimentary participation in one private interoperability test event annually.

Benefits:

Participating members have the ability to influence the direction of the Ethernet Alliance by participating in and chairing work groups.  Participating members can participate in all industry tradeshow and private interoperability test events.

The requirements for membership in the Ethernet Alliance are:

  • Publicly display a legitimate business interest in the IEEE 802 Ethernet
  • Publicly support IEEE 802 Ethernet by shipping products or enabling technologies; be developing technologies and or products, or be actively involved with IEEE 802 Ethernet.
  • Pay the annual dues in accordance with the set fees for the level of participation. The initial annual dues are payable upon membership acceptance.

Once your application is received and approved, you will receive notification of acceptance via email. Once accepted, an invoice will be generated. Payment can be made by check, credit card or wire transfer. Note: your membership will not be activated until payment has been received.
